The administration and supervision of the PATRAS SCIENCE CENTRE “Konstantinos Dimitriadis” are the responsibility of Filekpaideftiki Etaireia . Filekpaideftiki Etaireia has formed a four-member, voluntary Committee for the Management and Operation of the PATRAS SCIENCE CENTRE, chaired by Professor Evangelos Gazis from the School of Applied Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the National Technical University of Athens.
The PATRAS SCIENCE CENTRE “Konstantinos Dimitriadis” is administered and supervised by Filekpaideftiki Etaireia with a four-member voluntary Committee chaired by Professor Evangelos Gazis, School of Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
The members of the Committee are
- Dr. Sotirios Glavas, Board of Directors member at the University of Athens and former President of the Pedagogical Institute and the Institute of Education Policy.
- Professor Dimitrios Mourtzis, Engineering Professor at the University of Patras.
- Dr. Emmanuel Petrakis, PhD Physicist, Director of Arsakeio Lyceum of Patras.
The Commission is responsible for formulating the instructional content of applicable educational programmes, overseeing their implementation, and managing the overall educational and scientific activities of the PATRAS SCIENCE CENTRE. Additionally, it specifies the terms and for students and educators participating in the educational programmes.
The Commission is supported by Alexios Mattheou, Dr. Nikoletta Kokkinou, and Dimitrios Ntotsikas, while administrative assistance is provided by Arsakeio High School of Patras.
